Brad has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. He initially studied in Santa Monica with Brian Kest, the pioneer of Power Yoga. He then studied with Govindas, among other senior teachers in Southern California. “My intention”, says Newman, “besides turning more people onto a conscious, more peaceful lifestyle that continually challenges them to grow, is to teach a style of yoga that fully embodies the mind, body, and spirit. This is what Yogercise gives practitioners.”
The combination of body and mind creates an incredibly broad range of fulfillment, including top physical condition and a calm, tranquil, clear mind. Yoga will make you feel whole, complete, and full of equanimty. This is what the practice is all about.
Brad believes that within a devoted yoga practice, clarity is being sought, not perfection, and in practice we find moments of wholeness, and in wholeness we find life. He strives to bring this into his teaching both playfully and earnestly.
